What you've been waiting for all your life is coming sooner than you think it is!
But I doubt I have anything to do with that. :P
I just got home from Rbaens & Bel0n, where I picked up a few interesting books, about which I'll tell you only a little. Hey, I'm busy, you're busy, so here it goes. I.. got.. a boook. :-)
It's called One Nation Under Gods and I'm quite excited about it, but tired. So, rather than me write much about it after barely starting the first page, you may click that link for a brief( I promise ) overview of this exciting, exciting book. You oughta have it. You do, don't you?
Well, boop de boop, "boop of boop", I'm off. Again.
Checks out the photo in my profile, say hey! :-\
I'm interested in theology, philosophy, history, life, and wives. If you remain here long enough, you'll probably hear something about each of these things.

About Me

- polemic turtle
- turtle believes his Bible, loves His God, and is being divinely conformed unto the image of God's Son, though if one were to think in terms of Romans 9, turtle would confess that he is a very stubborn and brittle piece of clay. thankfully, the Potter works omnipotently for turtle's good and shows him mercy and grace every day.

It's the history of the Morman church from its origin to the 2002 Olympics. Very interesting, although it does *not* read exactly like a novel, in my opinion. The guy pretty much systematically takes all of the sources available and contrasts them with the LDS information that they're propagating, which is often false. It's a bit much at times, but I've enjoyed the 80 pages I've managed to read thus far. :-)
So why read about the Mormons?
Actually, it's quite galling to see how well their machine propagates their hellish doctrines while I and perhaps other Christians do nothing. This inspires me as a sort of shocking challenge which, in effect, wakes me up to the fact that the work done by the great men of God is being undone in our country and that Satan has caused we Christians to fall asleep in "Christian" America. A lot of us have lost our moral authority because of our own compromises and it's time that we blow the trumpet in Zion, alerting each other of our own desperate need to "be holy as (He) is holy"! I'm troubled when my brothers have intellectual knowledge in the form of doctrine and dogmas, but are not on fire for the Lord or willing to weep for the sins of our land! We pray for revival, but we want to remain the same. This is human nature, to be sure, but that does not belong in the lives of Christians. We need to return to true separation from the world and the god of it and become the moral authority we should be as the Body of Christ.
Mormans have doubled their number in the last decade or so; Have the Primitve Baptists? If not, why? We need to re-dedicate our lives to knowing the truth and spreading it to those who have no truth. We have no other purpose here on earth than to glorify God and encourage others to do so, so why aren't we preaching at the malls, going door to door, or holding public Bible studies? I speak idealistically and know it takes time for such things to happen, but don't you agree we need to do this? I feel a burden for the churches of America.
