I'm interested in theology, philosophy, history, life, and wives. If you remain here long enough, you'll probably hear something about each of these things.

Dear me, have you ever experienced the ill domino effect in a family? Well, we have and currently are. Apparently, someone was feeling ill a few days before they came to see Papa and then after we'd spent a few hours with them, they mentioned it. Argh.

Well, everybody feels ill, even me, although I'm not sick. I simply couldn't watch everyone feel so bad when I felt so normal, so I decided to throw a solo pizza party. If I ever do that again, I shall have to stop about halfway through because I'm feelin' ill, fellas!

Recently read: On the Incarnation( St. Athanasius ); Reading: The Oneness of God( David Bernard ); Will next read: 'Jesus Only' Churches( Dr. E. Calvin Beisner ).

Recently bought: God in Three Persons by Dr. E. Calvin Beisner
Oneness Pentecostals and the Trinity by Gregory Boyd
A Definitive Look at Oneness Theology: Defending the Tri-Unity of God by Edward L. Dalcour

Wish I could find: God in Christ Jesus by John Paterson

A few comments upon these books: I want to help myself and others to know God as He has revealed Himself. I believe by reading both sides I can gain a lot of insight into the questions to ask about each text involved. The doctrine of God is very important, because it affects every other doctrine. Bear with me and let your love cover a multitude of sins as I try to learn for myself and help others.

Debates I've recently listened to:

James White vs. Robert Sabin
E. Calvin Beisner / Walter Martin vs. Nathaniel Urshan / Robert Sabin

Both of which were very good.

But now, back to reality until this evening. Cheers!

eek. 3 months? How frightening! I think we're hoping to be completely better by Sunday or so. I think I'll feel better after the pizza leaves me in peace.

Sorry about your flu/virus/cold bouts. And don't feel too bad about the pizza; I've had many a time when I've had to restrain myself from eating a lot of it. *sigh*

I would recommend also reading: "The Forgotten Trinity" by James White. Available through www.aomin.org.

About Me

My photo
turtle believes his Bible, loves His God, and is being divinely conformed unto the image of God's Son, though if one were to think in terms of Romans 9, turtle would confess that he is a very stubborn and brittle piece of clay. thankfully, the Potter works omnipotently for turtle's good and shows him mercy and grace every day.
