Some good ideas for you to put in action today:
First, go to DaveRamsey.com and subscribe to his free 1-hr radio show podcast. You'll be blessed if you do and learn his way of thinking in the process. As a very close relative to one of his MyTotalMoneyMakeover members, I get three hours commercial-free just about every day( if I remember to ).
Second, if you are currently college-minded or know someone that is, send them toward Gary North's LowestCostColleges.com for some information which could save them thousands of dollars and years of their life.
Third, if you are married or plan to be someday, get ahold of Dr. Joel Beeke's free 35-lecture course on Christian Marriage and Family Living. I have been very edified by what I've learned from this course and hope to put what he teaches into action within the next half decade or so. :-)
Fourth, if you want to know more of what can be known of God from someone who has been studying Him for a very long time, check out J. I. Packer's free lessons on the doctrine of God.
Fifth, if you don't have a prayer list written out, chances are that your prayers are significantly less felt than they should be( since you're forgetting to pray for people! ). Change that today by typing a list of people's names who you want to remember in prayer. Beware, though- you'll need to distribute the names over a number of days if you want your prayer times to remain relatively short. Otherwise, continue as the Spirit moves.
Sixth, remember that book that you half-way finished? Go, get, and finish. If you can't recall the details of the section you read before, I'm halfway inclined to say you deserve it. If you start something, you ought to also finish it! Before you think me judgmental, think of the fact that I'll be spending a significant portion of this evening finishing a book I haven't complete yet. It'll be worth it, I think.
That's it for now. I hope to write more often in the near future.
I'm interested in theology, philosophy, history, life, and wives. If you remain here long enough, you'll probably hear something about each of these things.

About Me

- polemic turtle
- turtle believes his Bible, loves His God, and is being divinely conformed unto the image of God's Son, though if one were to think in terms of Romans 9, turtle would confess that he is a very stubborn and brittle piece of clay. thankfully, the Potter works omnipotently for turtle's good and shows him mercy and grace every day.
