We had quite a time on New Year's Eve. We choose to spend it at the church and were richly rewarded therefor. Our later evening was spent in playing Spades & Moods and some of us watched the few lengthy matches of Barricade for which we had time. Of course, the analytical fellows gravitated toward it and I was left wondering if it would be wise for me to do the same.
A rather large - record-breaking, really - crowd was gathered there to welcome in the New Year. As recording-breaking as the crowd was, I believe we struck even more of a record for the amount of chocolate served. Yuck; I desire no chocolate now.
We sang for too long, really, considering how late we started, because Brother Zack had barely 3 minutes to speak to us before midnight struck. He made it, somehow, but it was 12:01 or so before we were all finally gathered into our customary sanctuary-encircling, hand-holding prayer stance. Oh, well. Happy New Year, everybody!
Praise the Triune God for friends within the faith! Praise Him for yet another year! Praise Him for His assemblies of saints which went before! Praise Him for staying exactly the same throughout the whole! Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Amen!
I'm interested in theology, philosophy, history, life, and wives. If you remain here long enough, you'll probably hear something about each of these things.

About Me

- polemic turtle
- turtle believes his Bible, loves His God, and is being divinely conformed unto the image of God's Son, though if one were to think in terms of Romans 9, turtle would confess that he is a very stubborn and brittle piece of clay. thankfully, the Potter works omnipotently for turtle's good and shows him mercy and grace every day.
