I'm interested in theology, philosophy, history, life, and wives. If you remain here long enough, you'll probably hear something about each of these things.

I ordered the major guts of a new computer yesterday, including the two clickably pictured in this post. Ah, computer guts. Well, this new system will be a dandy, running much faster than anything I've ever built or even used. It's one of those new Intel Core 2 Duos, running @ 2.4Ghz with 4MB shared cache. Very cool, I say.

Speaking of "say", say, did you know that a watched pot never boils? Well, neither does a computer shipment ship if you anxiously watch its status all the day long. This I have learned empirically and, through faith in God's promises of continuity in the world, project the same into the future as a definite principle of providence. Well, that was a rather loaded way of putting it, wasn't it?

With the computer, I hope to crunch massive amounts of video into small bytes. Hehe, "small bytes", ha.. Well, that is, I hope to put the family videos into a form easily watched and stored on the computer. I've really struck the goldmine for such things in this website called VideoHelp and hope to learn the tricks and methods of the practice well enough to transfer the entirety of our family's video heritage over to DVD and DivX. What I'd really like to do is find some of our extended family's videos of my parents when they were young; I've never seen those and would very much like to preserve them. Well, pray for me and Yahoveh's Will shall be done.

I fear I shall writhe in my chair in nervousness until such time that I find my shipment has shipped. Oh, do assist them, good and lovely Lord Jesus!

About Me

My photo
turtle believes his Bible, loves His God, and is being divinely conformed unto the image of God's Son, though if one were to think in terms of Romans 9, turtle would confess that he is a very stubborn and brittle piece of clay. thankfully, the Potter works omnipotently for turtle's good and shows him mercy and grace every day.
