I snagged a prosumer VCR off eBay yesterday by the grace of our Lord. Wow, what a deal it seems; I hope it works. With it, I shall transfer our home videos to DVD, hopefully with beautiful quality. I've heard much good about this model and I'm hoping that my particular instance thereof will live up to its reputation.

Turtle, You asked for videos of your Mom growing up. (We got our first video camera when you were born in 1989) We had home movies back in your Mom's youth. I suppose that wouldn't work with your new super-duper machine, huh?
