I'm interested in theology, philosophy, history, life, and wives. If you remain here long enough, you'll probably hear something about each of these things.

My talker's broke. :-(

Well, not really, but I've been preferring to read more than speak lately, as I feel more than ever my own ignorance. Sure, I and others reference our own "ignorance", but I of all people can see my own better than any man and it pokes me in a tender spot. More than my ignorance, it is my own hedonistic tendencies and loquacious habits that prevent me from actually learning as much as I could learn that trouble me.. Oh, I don't know if this is a thirst for God's Word, but if it is, thank you, Jesus!

Reading Gill's Body of Doctrinal Divinity, which is really a sign as good as any I've seen of the man's incredible erudition, quoting Seneca, Cicero, Tertullian, Aquinas, Aristole, and numerous Jewish Rabbis with both purpose and authority. Oh, what a classical scholar he was, to know such things as he did! Oh, I shall return to my studies!

About Me

My photo
turtle believes his Bible, loves His God, and is being divinely conformed unto the image of God's Son, though if one were to think in terms of Romans 9, turtle would confess that he is a very stubborn and brittle piece of clay. thankfully, the Potter works omnipotently for turtle's good and shows him mercy and grace every day.
